Always Support Children in Giving

MEREDITH BIERI. OCTOBER 26, 2016

This month a friend and former co-worker shared on Facebook that her Grandson Dalton was working on a project to collect socks for the homeless. His goal was to collect 100 pairs from as many different states as possible. Lucky for me, his Grandma Karla tagged me so I could provide socks from Wisconsin and of course a small token to signify where they came from. I decided a Green Bay Packer postcard was perfect.

I am happy to report that Karla shared he was through the roof with excitement. Her message read:

“I wish I would have videotaped it he was so excited about the socks and then he’s like I got a football picture when I left he was still holding the postcard he was so excited his name was on the back of the postcard thank you Meredith that was so very sweet of you”

When I think about small things that can change the world in big ways, it always comes down to supporting a child, especially one who is practicing the art of giving!

Warms my heart to think about how this little guy will warm many soles.
