Giving Co-Op Participates in First Event

MEREDITH BIERI. NOVEMBER 19, 2016

Last night was a long anticipated event for us at the Giving Co-op – we participated in our first event and debuted our concept, idea and products! We feel so blessed with the positive feedback we received. Many great conversations, lots of laughs, some tears as we discussed the causes and many seeds planted. We were able to gain valuable feedback and make some great connections. Thank you to Amy Wendlandt who organized the 3rd Annual License to Shop. And a big thank you to my youngest daughter Macy who helped out every step of the way to make this successful for us. It is a joy to work alongside her as she is as passionate about giving and I am!

While we don’t have our Giving Tracker up yet on the site, it won’t stop us from sharing our giving news: $150 was raised through Trades of Hope jewelry to empower women around the world out of poverty and into entrepreneurship producing fair trade and ethically sourced jewelry.  $163 was raised to support three of our other partners including The Production Farm, No Kid Hungry Campaign and The Joy Rising Project.

Looking forward to participating in more community events and working towards our additional sales channel launches.
